The Funky Monks are Australia’s longest running and touring Red Hot Chili Tribute Show! Regarded as the number one Chili Peppers tribute in the country.

Formed In 1992, their first show was playing to a packed house in Adelaide after the Chili Peppers “Blood Super Sex Magik Tour Concert”, the band had some surprise guests join them.

Chad Smith (Red Hot Chilli Peppers) Drummer + Arik Marshall (Red Hot Chilli Peppers) Guitarist, got up on stage and jammed a few tracks with the Funky Monks themselves!

To quote Chad Smith “These Guys Rock Like Pigs!”

Continuing to entertain and amaze punters with their high energy and massive sound recreating The Chilli Peppers vast catalogue from the early days to all recent radio tracks.

The Funky Monks are not impersonators, but are fans paying tribute to the music of the LA foursome which they love and it shows in the energy and passion they continue to put into every show they play.

This show will be huge, including some of this states amazing musical talent to recreate a massive sound, so its not a show you want to miss.

Also on the night will be The Coogees a classic rock and psychedelic band formed by a family of musicians blending powerful rhythms, soulful vocals, electrifying guitar riffs, and atmospheric keys. With a mix of timeless rock influences and psychedelic experimentation.

Also supporting are The Sleepers, an emerging Adelaide four piece fusing post-punk and indie rock into heavy angst to light emotional rock tracks influenced by such artists as Fontaines DC and Hole.
